A respected California law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support its Labor & Employment practice group. This hybrid role combines litigation legal assistant and paralegal responsibilities, providing comprehensive support throughout all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, technologically proficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requires 5+ years of experience supporting attorneys in labor and employment litigation, including wage and hour analysis. A Paralegal Certificate (or qualifications meeting California Business and Professions Code requirements) is required. Candidates should possess advanced Excel skills, extensive experience with e-discovery platforms and litigation software, strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures, and exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication abilities. Trial preparation experience and the ability to work independently while anticipating attorney needs are strongly preferred.
$89,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
